Cleveland Choreography creates high level dance-based works of art for any performance or occasion. Whether you need a dance choreographed for a special occasion or would like to hire skilled dancers as performers for an event, we provide a fun learning atmosphere combined with unparalleled creativity.
WHO & WHERE WE SERVE
We are available for dance companies, theaters, wedding and party choreography, dance teams, adults, teens, and couples. We service all of North East Ohio - the greater Cleveland area including Lakewood, Ohio City, Westlake, Brooklyn, Independence and more! One of our specialties is choreographing high school dance teams. We are known for our strong organizational skills when it comes to formations and having a broad vision for large groups. We always keep a fun atmosphere in the studio and our passion shines through while instructing!
OUR FOUNDER & HISTORY
It all began with our amazing, charismatic, fun-loving, talented founder - Arielle Strosser! Arielle has been passionate about dancing since the age of 3. She is originally from Lancaster, PA, where she was recognized at an early age for her creative choreography talents. She is professionally trained in the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, modern, pointe, and lyrical. She choreographed for multiple dance teams in the area from the age of 16. She taught dance at the Lititz Academy of Dance, and was a part of their Cojomotion Dance Company. This company gave her the opportunity to perform at many charitable events including their annual Christmas show, helping to raise over $250,000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation. For her senior project in high school, she conducted and performed in a dance production with fellow students in her high school. All proceeds from this event went to a local shelter for abused women. After high school Arielle studied Dance at Radford University in Virginia. Here, she was on their dance team, R U Hype and participated in contributing to their choreography. Arielle moved to Ohio to attend Cleveland State University to study psychology with a minor in dance.
Although she is not a Cleveland native, Cleveland holds a special place in her heart. She has lived here for the past six years and loves the diverse, young, fresh energy that the city brings! Residing right outside of Lakewood, she has found joy and fun in the city around her. When she’s not dancing you can find her bartending, mixing high- end cocktails, and serving top of the line steaks at Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
While she loves performing, Arielle’s main passion in the dance world is choreography. She is a Cleveland-based choreographer, specializing in the styles of jazz, contemporary, burlesque, and heels. Although she has a strong background in jazz, some of her favorite pieces she has created are heels and burlesque pieces. Most recently, Arielle has joined the Cleveland Dance Project family and has choreographed for them for 4 seasons. With Cleveland Dance Project, she choreographed for small to large groups in the styles of jazz, contemporary and Broadway burlesque. She has also set pieces on the Cleveland Dance project company which is their most elite group of dancers. While Cleveland Dance project is a huge part of her life, she excited to be expanding her choreography talents to more of the Cleveland area.
